The excess of consumption encouraged by consumerist habits our culture has cultivated has demanded a proportionate response from agents of production. the burden of one occupant becomes the burden of the other.
My proposal for a green new civic is a co-op farm that provides civic space amidst rural sprawl. laborers will own their own contributions and the means to exchange; but at the scale of operation this project provides, this ownership transcends a singular ownership. in this explicit relationship between product and laborer, the identities of owner and maintainer are blurred.
